Nice surprise: THE REIGN OF GOD was reviewed and introduced in Crosslight, the newspaper of Australia’s Uniting Church. The small book review “Graphic Gospel” is also online.
I have been attending Sophia’s Spring, a Uniting Church congregation that meets at CERES Community Environment Park in Melbourne. I also visited Brunswick Uniting Church nearby. I don’t know how the newspaper review came about, though.
Sophia’s Spring is a small assembly with an emphasis on ecofeminist theology and the wisdom tradition in the Bible. It’s a wonderfully refreshing view, and the people there are warm and very aware of pressing social and environmental issues.
